Minimal modification needed (drill out rivets)
Increased cooling efficiency during high boost driving. Utilizes OEM flanges and piping. Drilling out of factory rivets is required (replacement hardware is included). Intercooler core has been treated with CCP Chemical Combination Polishing,this treatment will increase
the anti-corrosion rate. End tanks are buffed to a
polished finish. Aluminum Baffle Air Diversion Plates are included to direct the flow of air through the Intercooler.
Baffles Air Diversion Plates are treated with Alumite,
a form of anodizing to promote stealthy appearance.

Efficiency Data
Intake air compressed by a turbocharger generally reaches 120-150 degrees C. In order to decrease
intake air temperature, an intercooler is added.
When intake air temperature rises, oxygen density decreases due to thermal expansion. Output is decreased and knock issues may arise. When boost is raised with a boost controller the exit temperature rises significantly, and the stock intercooler efficiency in adequate. The ECU registers knock, and retards ignition timing resulting in a substantial decrease in output power. By utilizing the higher cooling efficiency of our inner fin type core, there is 0.7 PSI pressure drop compared to the factory core. But over 20% increase in heat dissipation rate to insure a cooling efficiency for the boost-up application to support over +600hp.Test Results At the most unfavorable conditions, the Greddy Intercooler kit is able to decrease temperature by 10+ degrees C over the stock Intercooler.

At peak power there is a maximum of 11 HP, at 4,000-5,000 rpm there is an increase of 18 HP.
